Question by Sevisgod: Door wont open on my beko washing machine?
Is there a DIY solution rather then calling someone out to fix it?

I don’t know if you’ve got the manual or not, they tend to have troubleshooting advice. (link to their website where you can download one if need be below). Is there definitely no water in the machine? You could try running the spin cycle again just to make sure, or disable the child lock (depending on the machine model).

has it drained fully? if not , it could be that there is something stuck in the waste filter which is preventing the machine from draining and as a safety feature the door will not open until the blockage is removed,so check your drainage filter at the bottom of the machine on the front . might be behind a little hinged door, you can unscrew the filter holder to pull it out .be careful,some water will come gushing out so have a tray or shallow basin to catch this water.if doesnt work, try starting the wash program again from the start, if when it comes to the draining part, you hear a loud clicking noise,then that is a broken drain pump,and needs to be replaced by a service person.all i can think of,best of luck.
